Cydney Davidson-Bey (formerly Gillon) graduated from Eastern Michigan University where she studied Information Technology and received a Bachelor of Science degree. Passionate about IT and shocked as she walked the stage at graduation as the only black woman, she created Technology in Color soon after leaving Eastern in 2017 to help fill the void of women of color in IT.
After almost a decade in Corporate America working in the field, Cydney decided to turn her passion into a full-time mission; to help create more skilled IT workers and fill the unemployment gap in Tech.
